Hebrews 10:23-25; Acts 2:42-47 Our true story comes from a part of the Bible called Acts, which is short for “the Acts of the Apostles.” An apostle is someone who is sent to teach others about Jesus. Our true story also comes from a part of the Bible called the Gospel of John. John was one of the friends and helpers of Jesus. And the word “Gospel” means “good news!” And our true story also comes from a part of the Bible called the Letter to the Hebrews. A letter is one of the ways people use to share important news. After Jesus went to Heaven, His friends wanted to keep learning about Him. So they came together every day! They listened to the stories the disciples told. They prayed and sang songs. They ate meals together and thanked God. If someone didn’t have food, the others shared. If someone didn’t have money, the others helped. Everyone gave what they could so no one was left out.
