David Praises God with Joy
2 Samuel 6:12-15; Psalm 149:1-5
Our story comes from the Bible. It is found in the part of the Bible called 2 Samuel ("Second Samuel"). It is the second of two books in the Bible named after Samuel. Our story also comes from a part, of the Bible called Psalms. The word psalm means holy song or special song.
David loved God very much.
One day, David helped bring something very special to the city—it reminded everyone that God was with them.
David was so happy!
He sang, he danced, and he praised God with all his heart.
The people around him were happy too. They played music, shouted with joy, and celebrated.
David was not worried about what others thought. He just wanted to praise God.
David knew that God loved His people.
Jesus helps us see this clearly.
Jesus teaches us to love God and to worship Him with joyful hearts.
