The Bible Teaches God Loves All the Time

Psalm 119:72; Jeremiah 31:3

Our true story comes from a part of the Bible called Psalms. The word psalm means holy song (or special song). Our story also comes from a part of the Bible called Jeremiah, named after a man who loved God and told people about God so that they could love Him, too.

There’s a verse in the Bible that says that God’s Word is worth more to me than gold. And not just one piece of gold. The Bible is worth more than thousands and thousands of pieces of gold! Do you know why? Because the Bible is full of words from God!

God’s Word tells us that He loves us SO much! God loves us when we’re happy. And God loves us when we’re sad.

God loves us when we’re scared. And God loves us when we’re mad. Whether we’re happy or sad, scared or mad, God loves us.

The Bible tells us that God loves us ALL the time. When you have a choice to make and you don’t know where to go or what to do, the Bible helps you.

Do you want to learn how to be a good friend? The Bible can tell you.

Do you want to know what to do when you’re scared? The Bible can tell you.

Do you want to remember that you were wonderfully made by God and that you are special? The Bible can tell you!

The Bible can tell you all of these wonderful things because it is full of God’s words, and that makes the Bible better than gold.

The law from your mouth is more precious to me than thousands of pieces of silver and gold. — Psalm 119:72

Our Bible story was about something that is worth even more than thousands of pieces of gold and silver. Gold and silver are worth a lot. When you have a lot of gold and silver, it’s like having a lot of money!

But what is worth more than thousands of pieces of gold and silver? Yes! The Bible! The Bible is better than all the money in the world because it teaches us about God and His Son, Jesus. And the Bible teaches us that God loves us all the time. And God’s love is better than thousands of pieces of anything!

Your teachings are worth more to me than thousands of pieces of gold and silver. – Psalm 119:72, NCV

With your family, make a list of super awesome things. Things that we think are worth a lot!

Pray with your family. Allow any family members to pray if they wish. Acknowledge to God there are so many awesome things in the world. Thank God for things like (read your list). Acknowledge those things are great. But also acknowledge that the Bible is so much better! Thank God for the Bible. Thank God that it teaches you about God and God's Son, Jesus. Thank God for loving you all the time. Acknowledge that God is the best and acknowledge to God your love for Him.
