Jesus Healed a Blind Man at Bethsaida

The Bible tells us about Jesus. It tells us Jesus went to many towns and villages. Jesus taught about God and His love. He taught the people how to love each other. People liked to listen to Jesus tell about God. One day when Jesus was standing near a lake, many people came to listen to Him. Jesus saw that they needed more room. Jesus had an idea. Jesus and His Family Went to the Temple

Luke 2:42-51 Our story comes from the Bible. It is in the part, or book, of the Bible called Luke. Luke loved Jesus and wrote about Him so that others could know Jesus and love Jesus, too. The Bible tells us about Joseph, Mary, and Jesus. From the time that Jesus was a little boy, they lived in a town called Nazareth. Every spring, Mary and Joseph took a trip to the city of Jerusalem. They went to the temple for the Passover Feast. This was a special holiday where people worshiped God. This year, Jesus was 12 years old. It was time for Him to go with them. Some of their family, friends, and neighbors probably went with them. They all walked on the long trip to Jerusalem. The trip would take a few days. In Jerusalem, Mary, Joseph, Jesus, and all the people went to the temple to worship God. Parts of our story also comes from another book of the Bible, called Luke. Luke loved Jesus and wrote about Him so that others could know Jesus and love Jesus, too. Parts of our story also comes from a book in the Bible called Deuteronomy (due-ter-ON-oh-me). The Bible tells us that God sent His Son. God became a man to save us. God's Son was Jesus. Jesus was born as a baby to Mary and Joseph. But Jesus had to grow up to save us. Jesus grew to be a little boy. Jesus lived in the little town of Nazareth. Mary took care of the house. She cooked food, like this bread. Mary took care of Jesus by loving Him, feeding Him, and teaching Him about God. Joseph taught his family to love and honor God. He taught his family God's Word. Jesus' family taught Him many things He nee
