Luke 7:36-50 Our true story comes from the Bible. It is in the part, or book, of the Bible called Luke. Luke loved Jesus and wanted others to know and love Jesus, too. How much does Jesus love us? You could run all the way around the world and Jesus’ love for you would go farther than that. That is a long way! You could swim down, down, down to the bottom of the deepest ocean with all the fish, and Jesus’ love for you would be deeper than that! That is deep! You could climb to the highest mountain all the way to the very tippy top, and Jesus’ love would still be higher than that. That is high! Jesus’ love for us is long and deep and high and wide. It goes on forever and ever and ever. But what about if you took a cookie off the plate after someone told you not to? Would Jesus still love you? YES! Do you think there is anything you could do to make Jesus stop loving you? Nope. Jesus will always, always, ALWAYS love you. That is why the woman in our

The centurion heard that Jesus was in a town called Capernaum (pronounced "cah-PER-nay-um"). So, the centurion went to the town. When the centurion found Jesus, he told Him about his sick ser

Jesus went to visit two of His friends. They were sisters and their names were Mary and Martha. Mary and Martha were very excited that their friend Jesus was coming for a visit. Jesus sat down, and Mary sat with Him. But Martha did not sit down. She had way too much to do. She was so busy! First, she was busy cleaning. Next, she was busy cooking dinner. Then she was busy setting the table. Finally, dinner was ready and on the table, dessert was made, the house was clean. And everything looked amazing! And Martha had done it all by herself while her sister, Mary, was still sitting with Jesus. Martha looked at Mary and became very upset. She went to Jesus and said, “Jesus, I’m doing all the work. Make Mary help me!” But Jesus said, “Martha, I came to spend time with you and Mary, but yo

Luke 18:15-16 The pictures for our Bible story show a special kind of window, called a “stained glass” window. A stained glass window is a window made of a bunch of different pieces of colored glass. When the pieces are put together, they make a picture. Most of the stained glass windows in churches show scenes from Bible stories. The beautiful windows help the people learn and remember the Bible stories. Stained glass window, Notre Dame Cathedral, Paris, France. Our true story comes from the Bible.
