Luke 15:11-24 WATCH VIDEO Our true story comes from a part of the Bible called Luke. Luke loved Jesus and wanted others to know and love Jesus, too. The Bible tells us many things. It tells us about God’s Son, Jesus. Many people listened to Jesus tell special teaching stories, called parables. One day, Jesus told a parable about a dad and a son. The son asked his dad if he could have a LOT of money that his dad was saving for when the son was MUCH older. The dad gave him the money. Then, the son packed up, took the money, and went far away. Once he’d arrived in this new place, he immediately spent his money on EVERYTHING. He bought clothes and toys and food. He kept spending his money until it was ALL gone.  All of his money was gone, and he was all alone. He didn’t have a house to live in, or money, or food. In fact, at one point, he was so hungry that he wanted to eat pig’s food. EWWW!  The son knew he had made bad choices. And he was VERY sorry. He wanted to go back to his dad and t

Esther

Esther 2:2—8:17 Our true story comes from a part of the Bible called Esther. Esther loved God and trusted Him even when that was very hard to do. Our story begins with a queen named Esther. Esther loved God. She knew that God loved her and had a plan for her. Our story is also about a man named Haman. Haman worked for the king but he did NOT love God.  In fact, Haman had a plan to do something very mean to Esther’s family. One day, Haman told the king that he should get rid of a whole group of people! God's people! When Esther heard this, she was SO upset. The king didn’t know that the people Haman wanted to get rid of were Queen Esther’s friends and family! They loved God just like she did. What should Esther do? She was scared that if she went to the king, he might get mad at her. But then . . . . . . her cousin Mordecai came to tell her something. Mordecai reminded Esther that God loved her and had a plan for her. She could trust God. "God loves you, Esther," Mordecai

God Made You

Genesis 1:26; Psalm 139:14 Our true story comes from a book, or part, of the Bible called Genesis. The word genesis means “the beginning.” Our story also comes from a book of the Bible called Psalms. The word psalm means holy song (or special song). Do you know who made the earth? Yes! God did. We can read all about how God made the earth in the Bible. Do you know who made the animals? That’s right! God made all the animals, too. God made every piece of grass, every flamingo and every bunny, and every single giraffe. God put the sun in the sky, He made the moon and the stars, and He made the mountains REEEALLLY tall! And it was ALL good. Everything God made was good. But there is something He created that is more special than everything else. Do you know what it is? Take one finger and point at YOU! God made you. People are His most special creation. God made you special. There is no one else like you. It’s true. God has made each and every one of us complete
