John 9:1-12 Our true story is found in a part of the Bible called the Gospel of John. John was one of the friends and helpers of Jesus. And the word "Gospel" means "good news!" Our true story is about some super amazing! Jesus and His friends, the disciples, were walking on a road near town . . . . . . when they met a man who could not see. He had been born blind. That means that for all of his life, the man’s eyes couldn’t see. If you closed your eyes for a minute, what could you see? Nothing. You could not see anyone and you could not tell if it was sunny or dark outside. Jesus was kind and wanted to help the man. So, Jesus spit in the dirt and made some mud. Then, Jesus put the mud on the man’s eyes. Next, Jesus told the man to go wash in a pool of water. And when the blind man washed off the dirt, what do you think happened? Yes! He could see. It was amazing! The people around them who saw what Jesus did were amazed, too! For the first time ever, the man could s

Luke 5:1-10 Our true story comes from a part of the Bible called the Gospel of Luke. Luke loved Jesus and wanted others to know and love Jesus, too. And the word gospel means “good news!” Our true story from the Bible is about someone AMAZING! We begin with Jesus on the shore of a lake, teaching a crowd of people. There were SO many people that Jesus didn’t have any room. Jesus looked out on the water and what do you think He saw? Boats! Two boats actually. One belonged to a fisherman named Peter. Jesus hopped in Peter’s boat and taught the people from there. When Jesus was done, He told Peter that they should go fishing! But Peter had already tried fishing all night long. And guess what? After a whole night of fishing, Peter hadn’t caught one single fish. But because Jesus told him to, Peter said he would try again. So, they sailed back into the water, and they got ready to let down their nets. And down the nets went, deep, deep, deep in the water. And they waited to see if they’d cat

Matthew 8:23-27, Mark 4:35-41 Our true story comes from a part of the Bible called the Gospel of Mark. Mark loved Jesus and told people about Him. Our true story also comes from a part of the Bible called the Gospel of Matthew. Matthew was a disciple of Jesus. That means Jesus was his teacher. And the word "Gospel" means "good news!" Our true story is about someone who did something amazing! Can you guess who? It was Jesus! Jesus was traveling with His disciples. A disciple is a student. Jesus was their teacher. Jesus was also their friend. While Jesus and His disciples were out in a boat, Jesus became tired. And so, Jesus went to sleep. But Jesus wasn't going to sleep for long because all of the sudden, it started to rain. Then it rained harder. And harder! And harder! And it was so windy! Then the waves got bigger and bigger! And the boat rocked back and forth! The gusty winds and the heavy rains made Jesus’ friends afraid. So, they woke up Jesus.  And this is

John 2:1-11 Our true story comes from a part of the Bible called the Gospel of John. John was one of the friends and helpers of Jesus. And the word "Gospel" means "good news!" Our true story is about someone who did something amazing. We begin with a wedding. It was quite the party! There was a bride and groom! And guess who was invited to this wedding? Jesus, His mom Mary, and his friends, the disciples. They were all there to celebrate and have a good time. The party had special food, and they were drinking super fancy party drinks. But as they were celebrating . . . they realized something. Uh-oh, the drink jar is EMPTY! The family having the wedding party ran out of the special drink. This was a big problem! And Mary wanted to help. Mary knew that Jesus could do amazing things, so she asked Jesus for His help. She told the helpers to do whatever Jesus told them to do. Jesus asked the helpers to get six big jars. Count to six with me. One, two, three, four, five,
