God Helps Me Not Be Afraid
Psalm 27
Our story comes from the Bible. It is found in the part of the Bible called Psalms. The word psalm means holy song or special song.
God Helps Me Not Be Afraid
David loved God and trusted Him.
Sometimes David felt afraid. There were times when things were hard.
But David said, “God is my light.”
That means God helps us see and helps us feel safe.
David said, “God is with me, so I will not be afraid.”
David talked to God. He asked God for help.
David trusted that God would take care of him.
And God did.
Jesus helps us see this clearly.
Jesus is our light too. He helps us not be afraid and teaches us to trust God.
Key Takeaway for Preschoolers

In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
